No Heat?

No Heat? Here's How to Reach Us

Call (719) 250-5593 Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

CLR Heating and Cooling handles no-heat calls for homes and businesses in Cañon City and Fremont County during business hours. Call as early in the day as you can and tell us your heat is out. We'll get you on the schedule as quickly as we can.

We don't offer emergency service after hours, on weekends, or on holidays. If your heat goes out after 5 PM or over the weekend, call us first thing the next business morning.

Before You Call: Quick Checks

  • Thermostat: Make sure it's set to Heat, set above room temperature, and has fresh batteries.
  • Breaker and switch: Check that the furnace breaker hasn't tripped and the power switch near the furnace is on.
  • Air filter: A clogged filter can shut a furnace down. Replace it if it looks dirty.
  • Furnace door: Make sure the front panel is closed tight. Many furnaces won't run with it loose.

Staying Warm Until We Arrive

  • Close doors to unused rooms and keep everyone in one or two warm rooms.
  • Use space heaters only if they're UL-listed, kept away from anything that can burn, and never left unattended.
  • On very cold nights, let faucets drip and open sink cabinets to help keep pipes from freezing.

Smell gas? Leave the house right away and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Don't flip switches or try to relight the furnace.

Cool and Cozy members get priority scheduling. A fall tune-up catches most no-heat problems before the cold sets in. See the Cool and Cozy Plan.
